Moscow (Russia) - 04/03/2011 - 3B Advice - EADS and the Fondation SKOLKOVO Moscow just sign a Memorandum of Understanding, March 3, 2011, (Memorandum of Understanding - MoU) in the field of research.
This implies that EADS will participate in a research institute of high-technology in the field of aeronautical and space technologies, including telecommunications and navigation, energy efficient technologies, technologies of information alongside the Innovation Centre SKOLKOVO. "Under the terms of the MoU, EADS co-operate with the Institute of Technology and other institutions SKOLKOVO Russian scientists in order to identify technologies and skills of mutual interest. "

The Research Centre will be part of EADS ' Russian Technology Office (ERO), established in 2003 under the aegis of EADS Innovation Works (*) to facilitate cooperation with the community R & D in Russia. Since its opening, the RTO has already run more than one hundred projects of technological cooperation between EADS and Russian institutions specializing in advanced engineering tools.
(*) EADS Innovation Works is the network of Research & Technology (R & T) of the EADS Group, which employs 700 people. The articumlation is as follows: two major primary sites: Paris and Munich, and neighborhood centers in Getafe (Spain) Newport (UK) and Hamburg (Germany) and Toulouse and Nantes (France). EADS Innovation Works also manages R & T centers in Moscow, Singapore and Bangalore.
