Thousands of blockhouses and bunkers always sleep in the back of beaches and cliffs along the coast of Normandy, Pas de Calais to the Gironde, from Dunkerque to Biarritz. We're so used to seeing them in our landscapes and holiday seaside strangely these concrete monuments have become almost invisible. Why? Indestructible relic of World War II, the Atlantic Wall contains a closely guarded secret. A secret that nobody wants to know for nearly 70 years. This huge wall was built on the orders of Hitler, under the leadership of the Organization Todt .
